On weekend mornings, I might make a cappuccino. I enjoyed one with a biscotto for breakfast last Monday. (My weekend is Sunday and Monday.) I also spontaneously whipped up a cappuccino to pair with a muffin fresh out of the oven as a brunch today. I have espresso every morning and I used to only grab a cappuccino in a to-go cup while out and about or order one in a mug to linger at a favorite coffee shop. Nowadays, it is more common for me to make and savor this coffee drink at home, especially after I found a decent frother and developed the habit of buying milk regularly. I even styled a coffee bar in my kitchen!

A cappuccino is espresso and hot milk with a foam cap. This coffee beverage is easy to make when you have the right equipment. I always brew illy espresso in my 3-cup Moka pot on my stovetop.

I pour the espresso into a cappuccino cup that has a saucer. I always add sugar to my espresso whenever I make a cappuccino.

I add milk up to the frothing line in the electric frother (by CHINYA) and then put the lid on. Fresh milk makes great foam.

I simply push a button to both heat the milk and create the foam. So easy!

I pour the milk from the frother into my cappuccino cup and use a serving spoon to block the foam. Then, I slowly spoon out the foam onto the coffee.

I usually savor a cappuccino in my living room as there is more morning light there.

I especially adore a cappuccino with a delicious cranberry pistachio biscotto from Termini Bros. in Philadelphia, which I either keep stocked in the freezer or in a jar at my coffee bar.

Last weekend, I was excited to start reading a new book on my Kindle while having breakfast. “Elevate the Everyday: actions and ideas to enhance the experience of daily life” by Jennifer Melville is wonderful.

This weekend, I squeezed in a cappuccino and blueberry muffin break while doing chores. I whipped up a batch with the Krusteaz mix and the muffin was delicious.

I have started to read Jennifer’s book today. It’s a good book when you can choose the chapter of content you want to read. Your coffee nook is very cute. I love cappuccinos at home especially when can control how much milk you put in. More milk froth for me 🙂
Oh! I was so happy to hear you read my book🥰. It’s all looks so cozy
