This is a modern take on the French Breton Shirt. I am still reading so many Francophile books. I just finished The French Twist, and have moved onto Entre Nous: A Woman’s Guide to Finding Her Inner French Girl, which I feel is so often quoted in all those other titles. Inspired by my literature, I would love to try on this top. The black stripes would fit into my capsule wardrobe much more than classic navy ones.
