8. Walk on the bike trail near my childhood home in the sunshine
Since my parents are on vacation and my brother is at work, I am dog-sitting the family dog Minnie, a terrier beagle mix, from last night to tonight. My Minnie Moo and I walked in the sunshine on this bike trail a block away from my parents’ place for about 45 minutes this morning. It was sunny and about 60 degrees. Plus, flowers are starting to bloom. With a cute dog on a leash, you make friends easily! It was simply a nice activity. Even though I walk all the time, especially to stores since I am without a car, I am so happy that I put this particular walk on my list.
Your morning walk sounds wonderful and having an eager companion makes it a lot easier. Minnie looks pretty happy about it!
I walk a lot and it was nice to have a change of scenery. Little Miss Popular makes it a bit more fun since everyone loves her. Since she pulls, I get an arm work-out. I tired her out though. She laid down on the cooler wood floor instead of the warmer rug, dog bed or furniture when we returned.
