French Friday: Sneak Peek of My Trip to Paris

If you've read this blog, then you know you can expect an incredibly detailed and useful, romantic yet real account of my 30th birthday trip to Paris. It just won't be in this post... Sorry! Stay tuned for next Friday. You see, I didn't really sleep much during my week-long trip. There was too much excitement and coffee (to which I am amazingly sensitive) for serious shut-eye. As a result, I developed a cold the day we came back and have been fighting it yesterday (in bed) and today (back at work). With sleep aid, I have been sleeping well since and expect myself to return to normal very soon. I can hardly wait to share all about it with you. The posts will simply be better when I'm more coherent!

I had a fabulous time in this beautiful city. We did a lot!

For now, I'll give you a sneak peek, two photos from each day my friend Elizabeth and I were there. All pictures were taken by moi.

Day 1: Thursday

Day 2: Friday

Day 3: Saturday

Day 4: Sunday

Day 5: Monday

Day 6: Tuesday: My Birthday

Day 7: Wednesday: Departure

  1. Hope you feel better soon....looks like you had some fun.

    1. Thank you! I feel so much better now. I did have fun! Stay tuned as I will burst with all the details soon!

      Buona Pasqua!

  2. Looks great, can't wait for the full rundown! How is Angelina? I'm envious....I never made it there on my trip!

  3. Angelina was pretty elegant. I love that Coco Chanel frequented this tea room. It's right across from the Tuileries on Rue de Rivoli, so pretty close to our hotel. I loved the hot chocolate! So decadent! My friend hadn't had the thick European-style cocoa before, so it was fun to see her reaction. We were seated next to a table with mini pastries on tiered trays; it was all very lovely. It was one of the first things we did.You should go on your next trip!
